Solar Marine notification service can send updates to Discord, too.
You can add notifications from Solar Marine in a few steps!
Method 1: Follow the announcement channel
Solar Marine sends its notification to Discord via its primary announcement channel (#smart-doll-updates on Vega Starlight server).
To add Solar Marine’s updates to your server, follow the announcement channel.
You can select where you want these updates to go (server and channel). You can also remove this anytime in your Server Settings > Integrations > Channels Followed.
You can add updates from my announcement channel only to servers and channels where you have webhook permissions. (If you’re a regular user, ask the server’s staff.)
And you’re set!
Please note
Every update needs to be published from my channel before it can appear on other servers. Discord doesn’t have a built-in auto-publishing option. Currently, publishing is handled by a third-party Discord bot that occasionally experiences queues and delays.
Discord limits the number of updates that can published to followers. The current limit is 10 per hour. If there are more than ten updates in an hour, they will not be published, and therefore, they will not appear on your server.
Updates in your server’s channel will look similarly to this:
Each message will be from: SERVER Vega Starlight #smart-doll-updates. You can change this name in your server’s webhook settings.
Notifications from Solar Marine generally come in embeds (the rectangle with a colored strip on the left). They will be sent to your server exactly as they are in the announcement channel on my server. You can’t edit them on your end.
Solar Marine is in active development, so the contents and formatting may change over time.
Notifications include the header with Solar Marine’s picture, name, and an invite link to the original announcement channel, as well as the footer with Vega Starlight’s picture, a developer note, and the original notification’s timestamp.
From time to time, I may publish updates related to Solar Marine’s development, updates, features, etc. (i.e. unrelated to Smart Doll Store). As I have no way to know who follows my channel, this is my preferred way of updating everyone about important service changes. You can delete any notifications you no longer need on your server.

Following the announcement channels is handled fully by Discord. Therefore, announcements will arrive at your server with a slight delay.
Announcements edited or deleted from the announcement channel on my end will also be automatically edited/deleted on your server (by Discord).

Method 2: Webhook
Solar Marine can send notifications directly to your server via webhook. This is also how it sends updates to my server.
If you’re interested in this method, please reach out privately, as I need to manually add your webhook’s URL to the service.
The main differences from the previous method:
- You must create the webhook yourself in your server settings.
- There are no limits or delays in notification delivery. Notifications are sent directly from me (Solar Marine notification service) to your server (webhook).
- In addition to the name, you can customize the avatar of your webhook. With Method #1, it’s always my Discord server’s image.
- While technically possible, Solar Marine currently does not support deleting or editing its own messages. If a notification is edited or deleted manually (by me) in my server, it does not affect/propagate to your server. In other words, you’ll have to clean up faulty notifications yourself; they can happen occasionally.
- It is possible to customize the notifications for your server for a fee.
